[Melaka] Woof Station Pet Cafe

  • Rating: 5 out of 5
  • Price range: RM10 above
  • Ambiance: Cafe
  • Address: 13, Jalan KLJ 1-A, Taman Kota Laksamana Jaya, Melaka
  • Business hour: 2:30PM - 10:00PM (Closed on Monday & Thursday)

Pet cafe is becoming a popular hangout spot in Melaka. Not so recently, we visited the Woof Station Pet Cafe. As the name suggested, the cafe features dogs, more specifically two husky sibling and a Samoyed.

Imagine getting greeted at the door by playful dogs. As you approach the door, the dogs (usually Chewy) will be smiling and jumping around to receive you. The dogs here are tame, well-trained, aren't aggressive and well-behaved. If your kids have fear for dogs, this would be an ideal place to break their fear (or maybe your own fear for dogs). It is an ideal place for you and your kids to bond with the dogs.

The cafe is extremely clean and spacious. The area is also located in town but far away from the major tourist attractions. It is a breeze to drop by during the weekends despite the usual weekend jam in Melaka.

The Woof Station is an extremely happy place. It is more than just a cafe. If you have plans for a kids birthday party, this is a great place to create memories. We recommend you to visit Woof Station for:

  • Training your kids to be around dogs.
  • Play with the dogs when you need some pick-up emotionally. The cost cheaper than psychologists. Being around the dogs is therapeutic, much better than being around human.
  • Have party for kids. The guests will be entertained by the dogs.
  • For the fun of it. You really don't need any reason to be happy.

[Melaka] Klebang Original Coconut Shake

  • Rating: 5 out of 5
  • Price range: RM2 - RM5
  • Ambiance: Hawker stall
  • Address: Klebang, 5, Melaka
  • Business hour: Daily, 11AM - 6PM
  • Website: https://web.facebook.com/KlebangOriginalCoconutShake/
  • Halal

There are many coconut shake stalls in Melaka, but for some reasons, visitors love to go to the Klebang Original Coconut Shake. Started from a humble stall by the road side, the coconut shake business grew into a huge success. It is now popular food complex with huge parking lot.

The Klebang Original Coconut Shake has two serving spots. One, right by the road side on the Klebang road always packed with a long queue for take-away. If you drive into the small lane, you will find an arch greeting you into the larger food complex.

Of course, the coconut shake is the major popular order. It is a blend of coconut water, ice, vanilla ice cream, coconut pulp and top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. As a star product, we totally recommend you to order a glass for yourself. The taste is refreshing on a hot sunny day. If you don't fancy coconut, they do serve other drinks as well.

Other than coconut shake, there are some light meals served at the stall. The nasi lemak goes very well with the coconut shake. Although it's a small pack, the amount is just nice for an afternoon meal.

The keropok lekor (fish fritters) is also one of the popular dish here. As soon as served, everyone will be snatching it while it is hot and crunchy.

The light food and refreshing coconut shakes make a perfect afternoon snack. The quality of the food here is always consistent. With the reasonable price between RM2-RM5, no wonder this place is a hit in town for many years. Although popular with visitors, it is not a tourist trap. Many locals enjoy their afternoon tea here as well.
