The Mee Tarik Warisan Asli is one of the most raved restaurants since the opening of Mydin Pulau Sebang. The restaurant is open by a China Muslim, serving handmade la mien (pulled noodle). Out of curiosity, we went to try their signature handmade noodle.
Mee with special soup (RM12.80) is one of their best sellers. The noodle is obviously very oily. A layer of oil is apparent on the top of the noodle. The dishes are very generous in the serving. Chopped carrots and long beans are mixed together with the chicken dish. The handmade noodle are soft, chewy and different from the other noodles available. There is no doubt that it is handmade.

The Wet mee with braised chicken (RM12.80) is also made from their handmade noodle. The dishes are pretty similar with the Mee with special soup, except that the vegetables are substituted with chunks of mushroom, pepper, and onion. The taste is also very close.

Overall, the food is edible, nothing special except the handmade noodle. We rate this as 1 out of 5, 1 point for the distinguished handmade noodle. Other than that, the dishes aren't made for Malaysian taste buds. It is very "China" style. The food seems oily, you will feel like you get artery clogged after you have a bowl of the noodle. One thing that worth mentioning, the chicken is prepared in a very "China" manner where they simply chop the chicken into pieces. You can taste the skin still intact to the chicken meat and disgustingly, you might find feather stuck on it too. That is probably the biggest point deduction for the meal. After all, the restaurant is located in Pulau Sebang, which is about 1 hour driver from the Melaka city (on weekend). It really don't worth the time to travel so far for the food.
We will avoid this place for the time being and will return when we are ready for a second review. But don't take our words for it. The place is still packed with customers all the time. It might not meet our expectation, but others may think otherwise. If you're passing by or happen to live around Tampin or Pulau Sebang area, you should try it and let us know what you think of it.
