[Melaka] Where to bring your mom to eat in Melaka

Mother’s Day is this weekend. If you have totally forgotten about it, we would like to send this gentle reminder. It is not too late to arrange a special dinner with your mom. With these recommendations, we’re sure your mom would be extremely satisfied. We have compiled 10 places in no particular order for your reference. Khatijah’s Kitchen

Popular veteran singer, Khatijah Ibrahim recently expanded her F&B business to Melaka. Her restaurant serves classic Malay dishes with tastes close to the original kampung flavour.

Boss Curry House

If your mom loves spicy food, be sure to check out the Boss Curry House. Opt for the banana leaf rice for a beautiful presentation.

Teo Soon Loong (Non-halal)

Teo Soon Loong Restaurant specializes in Teo Chew food. The recommended dishes to order are stewed duck, bitter gourd with pork ribs and roasted suckling pig.

Nubacha (Non-halal)

Settling at a new location in Kota Laksamana, Nubacha has a larger seating area with a relaxing interior. The specialty of the restaurant is Western food. Whether you order the steak, pasta or burger, none of it will be disappointing. The charboiled steaks are definitely a showstopper.

Seafarer’s Restaurant

What better place to dine other than the Seafarer's Restaurant? The gentle sea breeze and sound of waves hitting the shore make this place a cozy and enjoyable place to dine. Recommended orders are the seafood.

Bites Cafe

Bites Cafe isn't a popular food place in Melaka among the tourists. Although located in the heart of Melaka Raya. This cafe has a cozy and homey ambiance that sets the mood.

For home-cooked nyonya food, Nancy's Kitchen is our choice. Recommended dishes are ponteh chicken, asam fish, otak-otak and pai tee.
